About the builder

      At the age of 15, I developed an interest in new homebuilding and pursued opportunities to learn as much I could from the ground up. The journey began with framing houses and understanding the intricacies of new home construction. After serving 8 years in the United States Air Force, I returned to new home construction, where I focused on learning the precision management of the building process. For the next 18 years, I worked with several prestigious home builders and developers in the Metro Atlanta Area and managed the construction of over 700 homes. I began Upstate Construction Services, LLC to bring my education, knowledge, and experience in providing high quality, new home construction to Upstate South Carolina.  

I focus on three areas in homebuilding which has provided tremendous success in the finished product:

• Organization, efficiency, and professionalism during the construction process with timely communication with the homeowner. 
• Developing long-standing relationships with high quality contractors and subcontractors who contribute their talent and expertise in building your home.
• Sustaining positive working relationships with outside vendors, financial lenders, code and building inspectors.

With a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from Georgia College and Master’s Degree from the University of South Carolina, I understand and appreciate both the analytics and aesthetics of new home construction. My passion comes from knowing we’ve carefully managed, protected, and added value to your home - and that we have become friends and trusted advisors.

I reside in Simpsonville, SC with my wife and two children. When I'm not building and spending time with my family, you will find me in the mountains whitewater kayaking, mountain biking, or camping.  ,
